KTN is doing a different thing when it comes to the TV “Game of Thrones”. The station, which waited for the dust to settle in order to unveil its team of anchors, took a different approach. They have brought in new and fresh talent.
Meet the faces that will be gracing news on KTN.
Brenda Czeda Radido
Formerly a KBC news anchor, she will be joining KTN as a news anchor. She has been a major part of news to the State-owned broadcaster and will be seeking to bring in her audience.
The Kenyatta University economics graduate started his career as a radio presenter at KU FM and later KU TV. The avid fan of Mark Masai will now be his competitor and will be seeking to bring in his audience from a show he used to host every week on KU TV called Wacha Ufala.
The former X FM presenter will be another new face to grace the screens. The journalism student from USIU has proven to have the experience. She is a former content writer and has been on radio since 2013 when she joined campus radio.
The former gospel artiste and contestant of “The Presenter” reality show is part of the fresh blood. the Daystar graduate is good at Swahili and hosted a Swahili show. The public relations and an international relations student is a talent to watch, and it is no wonder she was selected by KTN.
The team is set to battle out with the who-is-who in the media industry and is tasked with fitting into the shoes of former KTN talents such as Yvonne Okwara-Matole and Betty Kyallo who have left the station.
